Meet Your Inspector

My Name Is Nicholas Alvey
My name is Nick, and I’m a Certified Professional Inspector and proud member of InterNACHI. Before launching ClearSight Home Inspections, I spent a lifetime working with my hands, from building decks and fences at sixteen to installing HVAC systems, electrical components, flooring, roofing, and radon mitigation systems.
My background spans construction, the oilfield, and electronic engineering, giving me a unique edge when it comes to identifying issues that others might miss. I don’t just inspect homes, I understand how they’re built, inside and out.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outside enjoying Colorado’s beauty, playing disc golf, hiking, snowboarding, or spending time on the golf course. At the end of the day, I take pride in delivering clear, honest inspections that help my clients make confident decisions about their homes.

Why ClearSight Sees More
I’ve been on the other side of the walls.
Before launching ClearSight Home Inspections, I spent years working hands-on in the construction and trades industry—installing, repairing, and troubleshooting the very components I now inspect. From HVAC and electrical to framing and radon mitigation, I’ve worked on nearly every part of a home.
That’s why I don’t just check boxes. I diagnose issues—because I’ve built, fixed, and replaced these systems myself.
But I didn’t stop there.
To offer my clients the highest level of service and professionalism, I enrolled in InterNACHI’s certification program—one of the nation’s most respected training platforms for home inspectors. By combining top-tier education with real-world construction experience, I deliver clarity and insight you can trust.
At ClearSight, my mission is simple:
To give you more than a report—I give you peace of mind. Whether you’re buying your first home or your fifth, I’ll help you clearly understand the condition of your investment, so you can move forward with total confidence.
